Track renewals and signal upgrades between Dawlish Warren and Totnes will close the GWR mainline for four more days this month. Buses replaced trains last weekend and the same will happen again this coming weekend and on Sunday 19th and 26th January.
Journey times for passengers travelling from London to Plymouth and Cornwall will be about the same as a non-stop bus will operate between Tiverton |Parkway and Plymouth. Journey times to intermediate stations involving stopping bus services will take longer. A shuttle train services will operate on the Riviera LIne between Newton Abbot and Paignton.
Further disruption's likely in March when work is carried out between Castle Cary an Taunton between Saturday 14 to Sunday 29 March 2020.
